After a seven-year break, 'Wanted' actress Ayesha Takia is preparing to make a comeback.
While she is in talks with two production companies for pivotal roles, she has shot a video of the music in December for a song by Amit Mishra. The date of its launch has not yet been decided.
This is the first time the actress has faced the camera professionally after becoming a mother in December 2013. The song was shot in South Mumbai around Christmas last year and is being finished at the editing table.
"It took us two days to shoot Ayesha even tied up in her mother Farida to help with costumes," says a source close to the production team, adding: "His son Mikhail joined us on the shoot as well. One of the days of filming, he came dressed as Santa Claus. "
The director of Ayesha's video, Lovely Singh, told TOI that "we had to convince Ayesha a lot. She is reluctant to take acting offers because she wants to do something substantial." She is mother now and that comes first for her. Agreed to appear in our video because it was just a two-day shoot in Mumbai. "
Ayesha Takia made her debut in 2004 with 'Taarzan: The Wonder Car', after which she continued making films like 'Dor', 'Mod', 'Socha Na Tha' among others.
She married businessman Farhan Azmi in 2009 after starring opposite Salman Khan in 'Wanted', which became the most successful film of her career as an actress.
